Taurus Full Moon
A Scorpio Season Delight | November 15, 2024 | 12:28 PM CT | 24° Taurus
I like to approach every full moon with a pause and reflect on how far I've come since the new moon. Looking back to when we had the Taurus new moon, which was on May 7, 2024, this full moon marks a culmination of the past six months—a period where Taurus’ steady influence has encouraged persistence, all the while Uranus has woven in change and innovation, challenging us to evolve. So how did we do? Did we take extra care of the seeds that we planted? Or are there weeds in our garden bed? A full moon is where we can see if the hard work and persistence of the last six months came to fruition.
With the planet Uranus standing next to the moon at both the new and full moon, this Taurus moon cycle hasn’t been the traditional teachings of the Bull, one of feeling grounded and steady. Uranus, the planet of change and sudden insights, stirs things up in ways that may feel jarring or unexpected.
We’re being asked to embrace change—even if it feels uncomfortable. With Uranus in the mix, we may experience shifts that challenge our sense of stability and stir things up in unexpected ways. Taurus energy seeks grounding, security, and staying the course, while Uranus is the cosmic disruptor, here to shake loose what’s stagnant. It’s not change for the sake of change, though; Uranus is urging us toward alignment with our highest good.
If cracks in your foundation are exposed under this full moon, consider this a moment to repair, replace, or rebuild.
This full moon in Taurus is a reminder that stability and change can coexist. While Uranus shakes things up, it’s also helping you break free from old patterns that no longer serve you. By staying grounded, open, and present, you can harness both the steady energy of Taurus and the liberating influence of Uranus to move forward with confidence, knowing you are building a life that aligns with your deepest values and desires.
This full moon in Taurus is not only a time to reflect on the culmination of the last six months but also a moment of foreshadowing, especially as we approach Pluto’s upcoming entrance into Aquarius. Aquarius, ruled by Uranus, represents the energy of change, innovation, and liberation. The full moon in Taurus offers us an opportunity to prepare for this shift by grounding ourselves in the present and embracing both the stability of the earth and the change that Uranus and Pluto will bring. While Pluto’s transition into Aquarius marks the beginning of a transformative era, the Taurus full moon helps us find a solid foundation from which to launch this new chapter in our lives.
Taurus reminds us to stay centered and trust that even in the face of disruption, we have the ability to anchor ourselves in what truly nourishes us.
As always with any full moon or astrological event, be sure to check your own chart. Where do you have 24° of Taurus? That’s the area of your life being illuminated by this lunation and where you can explore ways to innovate or address any cracks in your foundation.
Wishing you a transformative and grounded full moon. From my heart to yours—bye for now.
